Job summary

Elevance Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment to prepare and label prescriptions and support pharmacists in dispensing medications at our Indianapolis location. This role requires accuracy, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with the pharmacy team.

You will operate within an in-house adjudication platform, verify data, maintain records, and ensure safe inventory management. A valid technician license and at least 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certificate preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy adjudication platform.
• Experience in dispensing pharmacy setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the adjudication platform to enter required information for prescription verification by Pharmacist.
• Maintain compliance with State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations for prescriptions.
• Communicate with prescribers, customers, and staff to complete prescriptions.
• Assist Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing medications.
• Arrange work activities to meet pharmaceutical needs of customers.
• Answer phones and provide medication information as needed.
• Verify data entry information and maintain records.
