Job summary
Elevance Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician- Fulfillment to prepare and label prescriptions and support pharmacists in dispensing medications.
This full-time role requires in-person work at our Victory Lane location (4740 Victory Lane, Indianapolis, IN 46203). You will ensure accuracy, meet regulatory requirements, and collaborate with prescribers and customers to fulfill pharmacy needs.
Qualifications
- Requires HS diploma and minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Preferred: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certificate.
- Experience with pharmacy adjudication platform.
- Experience in dispensing pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Uses the pharmacy adjudication platform to enter required information for prescription verification by Pharmacist.
- Maintains compliance with state/federal pharmacy regulations.
- Communicates with prescribers, customers, staff to complete prescriptions.
- Assists Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, labeling and dispensing medications.
- Arranges work activities to meet customers' pharmaceutical needs.
- Answers phones and verifies data-entry information.
