Job summary

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid registered technician license, with experience in a pharmacy setting and strong regulatory knowledge.

You will collaborate with Pharmacists, maintain accurate records, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and 1 year of pharmacy tech experience.
• Valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Pharmacy terminology knowledge preferred.
• Experience with adjudication platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter information in the adjudication platform to record prescription requirements.
• Maintain compliance with State Board and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate with prescribers, customers, and staff to complete prescriptions.
• Assist Pharmacist with reviewing, processing, filling, labeling, and dispensing.
• Plan work activities to meet customer pharmaceutical needs.
• Answer phones and route medication information requests.
• Maintain records by filing physicians' orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor inventory for expired products and remove them from stock.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and compliant with procedures.
