Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Specialist to lead full-cycle payroll administration and benefits management in Sunnyvale, CA. This role ensures accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality employee support under HR leadership.

You will manage day-to-day benefit programs, COBRA, 401(k), and leave processes, while maintaining confidential records and responding to employee inquiries. A background check is required for this position.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of payroll/benefits administration experience.
• Strong understanding of tax/wage laws and FMLA/ADA/ACA.
• Experience with Google Suite and payroll/timekeeping software.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll, including hires, terminations, deductions, and direct deposits.
• Maintain payroll records and respond to payroll queries.
• Assist with benefit enrollment, leave management, and COBRA administration.
• Support leave processes (FMLA, Military Leave, STD) and compliance with laws.
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures.
