Job summary

Canteen North America is seeking an Operations Controller to lead accounting activities within assigned accounts and assist the Regional Director of Finance with regional financial tasks.

The role emphasizes cash handling, financial reporting, forecasting, and close processes within a fast-paced, in-office environment in the United States. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with revenue control and cash handling.
• Experience in foodservice or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees cash handling procedures and reconciliation.
• Analyzes financial results for internal and external use.
• Maintains monthly P/L and balance sheet activity.
• Develops forecasts and budgets, identifies risks and opportunities.
• Reviews general ledger and balance sheets and prepares reports.
• Supports payroll and HR administration.
• Performs required financial close and audit reporting.
