Job summary

Canteen is hiring a Director, Regional Finance to lead all accounting and financial activity for the district, including forecasting and budgeting. This in-office role reports to the regional finance leadership and requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting plus 5+ years of experience.

The successful candidate will supervise accounting staff, ensure timely financial statements, and partner with operations on capital and working capital optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete and timely.
• Train and develop district accounting staff.
• Provide financial support and guidance to operations.
• Assist with ROI pro-forma including risk analysis.
• Assist Sector Finance in optimizing working capital.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
