Canteen North America is hiring an Operations Controller to manage the accounting activities for an assigned account and to assist the Regional Director of Finance with financial duties across the region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, at least five years in revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling, plus strong Excel skills and communication abilities. In-office position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in revenue control, financial reporting and cash handling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience with POS, cash and credit card reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accounting activity for assigned account(s) and supports Regional Director of Finance.
• Manages cash handling procedures and reconciliations.
• Prepares monthly financial statements, reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow analyses.
• Maintains P/L and balance sheet activity, reviews general ledger and closes books.
• Supports payroll administration and human resources tasks.
• Compiles internal and external financial reports and conducts variance analysis.
