Concord Counseling Services in Westerville, OH is seeking an experienced Insurance & Billing Specialist to support our billing and revenue cycle operations. This role processes claims, posts payments, maintains client insurance information, and supports credentialing activities.

You will work closely with payers, clients, and staff to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement, manage payer enrollment, respond to inquiries, and uphold HIPAA and internal policies.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business or accounting preferred.
• 3–5 years of healthcare billing, insurance claims processing, medical accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare billing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and third‑party payer requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to commercial, government, and other third‑party payers.
• Review claims and assist with correction and resubmission of denied or rejected claims.
• Post payments, adjustments, and contractual write‑offs accurately and timely.
• Reconcile client accounts and assist with resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain payer information within the EMR system.
• Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of client insurance information.
• Generate client billing statements and respond to billing inquiries.
• Assist clients with questions regarding insurance coverage, balances, and payment arrangements.
• Coordinate credentialing activities for clinical staff and assist with payer enrollment and revalidation processes.
• Maintain accurate billing, credentialing, and reimbursement records.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
