Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant program experience in customer services, social services, human services, and/or Medicaid processing.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for the required program experience.
• Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval.
• Sitting or standing for long periods of time; lifting 20 lbs; occasional overnight travel.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly; proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; basic mathematical computations.

Responsibilities

• Determine/re-determine Medicaid eligibility according to policies and procedures.
• Collect and evaluate documentation from applicants for eligibility.
• Complete eligibility determinations, reviews, and changes with accurate documentation.
• Document notes and steps clearly for review and hand-off to others; escalate when needed.
