Job summary

A-MAX Insurance in Garland, TX is hiring for an insurance sales agent in an in-office role. The position focuses on helping customers with new policies, edits, payments, and renewals while building a client base through local marketing and networking.

The role includes licensing support, training, and ongoing development, with a comprehensive benefits package. Bilingual skills and a TX license are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles and assess risk based on condition and other factors.
• Seek new clients and develop clientele through networking and marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting.
• Support daily office duties.
