Job summary

ALPA Insurance is seeking an in-office Insurance Sales Agent to join a growth-focused team in Texas. You will engage customers, process policies, and help manage renewals while building a client base through networking and local outreach.

The role emphasizes a strong sales mindset, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Licensing assistance and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various insurance needs such as new policies, edits, payments, renewals and reinstatements.
• Inspect vehicles to determine acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients, generate lists, and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks, renewals, and coordinate with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily office housekeeping routines.
