Job summary

TransAm Trucking is seeking a Fleet Manager (Dispatcher) in our Olathe, KS office. You will manage a fleet of drivers, dispatch loads, communicate expectations, and ensure on-time delivery in a deadline-driven, safety-conscious environment.

Starting pay is $50,000 per year with up to $28,000 in incentive earning potential. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, in-office. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact internally and externally.
• Adaptive to change with strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to type at least 40-45 wpm and pass a computer literacy test.
• Effective time management to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch loads and coordinate drivers' schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Review and communicate scheduled pickups and deliveries daily.
• Ensure drivers are informed of customer and company expectations on each load.
• Coordinate home time, downtime, and available time for drivers.
• Address safety non-conformance and incidents; escalate issues affecting on-time delivery.
