The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking an Information Security Audit Investigator to join the Information Security Audit and Investigations Unit in Sacramento. You will review audit logs, respond to alerts, analyze system access and transaction data, and determine the appropriateness of activities.

You will gather facts, prepare reports, and present findings to management in formal investigations. Working in a permanent, full-time capacity, you will conduct or assist with investigations

Qualifications

• Experience with FTB systems such as TPF, CM, INC, ARCS, BETS, TI.
• Experience writing investigation reports and memos.
• Knowledge of databases, including tables, fields, data types.
• Experience compiling and interpreting data using Excel and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies.
• Knowledge of Behavioral Analysis concepts.
• Knowledge of FTB infrastructure, including network and mainframe environments.
• Experience conducting audits or compliance reviews.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively.
