The analyst will produce spreads, ratios, and cash flow analyses, support underwriting, and report credit deteriorations to management. Collaboration with lenders and portfolio managers is essential.

Formación

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop expertise in credit analysis by focusing on annual reviews and loan renewal requests that are below Board level of approval.
• Enter financial statements and related information into financial spreadsheet software to produce simple spreads, generate financial ratios, and create global cash flows.
• Analyze relevant credit data and financial statements by evaluating trends and key ratios to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
• Work in conjunction with Sales Officer and Portfolio Manager to ensure that required financial statements and documents are received and underwriting is completed on a time-sensitive basis.
• Prepare written analysis based on observations on all credits exceeding $500,000, at origination and annually
• Report any deterioration of credits to management to maintain proper loan ratings
