Qualifications

• Bachelor in Finance or Accounting preferred; related field considered with relevant experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in credit analysis by focusing on annual reviews and loan renewals below Board level of approval.
• Enter financial statements into spreadsheet software to produce spreads, ratios, and cash flows.
• Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess risk of extending credit.
• Work with Sales Officer and Portfolio Manager to ensure timely underwriting and receipt of required documents.
• Prepare written analyses for credits exceeding $500,000 at origination and annually.
• Report any deterioration of credits to management to maintain proper loan ratings.
