Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Triage Specialist to join our in-office team in Omaha. Work 6:00am – 3:00pm CT with a meal break. You will set up and assign new workers’ compensation claims, record hours, and support the claims process while exploring advancement into a Claims Trainee role.

Applicants should have strong English skills, knowledge of commercial insurance, and a drive to improve processes. This is an on-site role with potential for future internal growth and development.

Qualifications

• One year insurance experience required.
• General knowledge of commercial insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience or vocational/technical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support to claims adjusters for intake and assignment of workers’ compensation claims.
• Update claims in the database and contact brokers as needed.
• Screen and route incoming calls to proper party.
• Prepare correspondence, print backups, and mail checks.

Skills

Insurance experience (1 year)

Commercial insurance knowledge

English literacy

Spanish literacy (preferred)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Vocational/technical education with related experience

Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)
