The position requires deep knowledge of commercial lending, strong leadership, and the ability to recruit, coach, and develop staff while coordinating with the Regional Team Leader to meet sales and credit objectives.

Qualifications

• Formal credit training or on-the-job training.
• Experience leading a team of commercial bankers in a market.
• Strong understanding of credit processes and underwriting.

Responsabilités

• Achieves production and portfolio growth objectives.
• Leads in-market commercial bankers and ensures adoption of credit processes.
• Recruiting, hiring, coaching, and development of team members.
• Represents BankUnited in market events and community organizations.
• Collaborates with Regional Team Leader to meet sales and credit targets.
• Oversees loan structuring, presenting to Underwriting and senior management.
• Coaches team and implements action plans; maintains employee files.
• Utilizes contact management and sales tracking systems.
• Develops market campaigns and promotions; monitors attendance and expenses.
