Regency Care of Central Oregon in Bend, OR is seeking a Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

You will plan and administer medically prescribed therapy, perform initial evaluations, and document OASIS assessments. Join an in-house rehab care model with strong team collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing problems.
• Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
• Reviews referrals, physician orders, patient condition and medical records to determine speech therapy treatment indicated.
• Performs initial patient evaluation and documents OASIS assessments at appropriate time points.
• Plans and prepares written treatment plans based on evaluation with physician, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Plan direct or conduct rehabilitative treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency.
• Other duties as requested.
