Job summary

Shores of Worthington is a Residential Health Care Facility seeking an In-House Speech-Language Pathologist (full, part-time or PRN) to assess, diagnose, treat, and support residents with communication and swallowing disorders.

The SLP will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide therapy one-on-one or in groups, utilize AAC as needed, and stay current with best practices while maintaining MN licensure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA certification/licensure preferred.
• MN state license in good standing and ability to practice independently.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate residents to determine communication, voice, language, and swallowing needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding difficulties.
