Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
• ASHA certification/licensure strongly preferred.
• Valid MN state licensure to practice independently.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate residents to determine communication and swallowing needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive care plans.
• Recommend and implement AAC systems as needed; monitor progress and adjust goals.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development.
