Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab at Sellersburg Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role. You will evaluate and treat residents, develop individualized plans, and educate families on therapeutic activities and swallowing safety.

The position involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary rehab team across locations. The role offers in-house stability, opportunities for CEU access, and a supportive promotes-from-within culture as part of the CommuniCare Family of

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Hold a valid or pending State Speech-Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, review, and screen patients'/residents' medical charts, evaluations, and develop a treatment plan.
Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function; administer and interpret speech tests.
Instruct residents, families, and caregivers to monitor speech and provide ways to practice new skills and safe swallowing techniques.
Attend/lead interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and coordinate with rehab team and families.
