Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Connersville, IN is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team at Caroleton Healthcare Center. This full-time role offers meaningful resident impact, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and opportunities to work across multiple locations with a premium hourly rate.

The SLP conducts evaluations, develops treatment plans, directs therapy for communication, swallowing, and cognitive challenges, and collaborates with rehab staff and families to promote safe

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patients' medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan, direct, or conduct rehabilitative therapy for communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers in therapy techniques and safe swallowing practices.
• Attend/interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and coordinate care with the rehab team.
