Job summary

Planet Depos, LLC is seeking a Quality Control & Verification specialist to support rescue jobs and time-sensitive transcript needs. You will assist reporters, review corrected transcripts, and ensure adherence to client specifications.

The role requires experience as a court reporter and/or scopist, proficiency with Eclipse or Case CATalyst, and strong attention to detail. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a court reporter and/or professional scopist.
• Proficiency in Eclipse and/or Case CATalyst (one required; both preferred).
• Strong understanding of transcript production standards and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong proofreading and editing expertise with high English proficiency.
• Proficient in reviewing audio/video recordings as part of record review.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.
• Ability to handle confidential material professionally.
• Willing to provide flexible coverage, including evenings and weekends.

• Handle rescue jobs and time-sensitive transcript needs.
• Assist reporters with backlog reduction and deadline-driven work.
• Perform corrected transcript review and analysis when clients ask that physical changes be made to a transcript. This includes comparison of the transcript to the errata received post-delivery and/or the relevant audio recording.
• Review corrected transcripts received from reporters to ensure all requested corrections or edits have been properly addressed, either through transcript changes or appropriate notation.
• Conduct transcript reviews to verify formatting, speaker identification, consistency, and compliance with client-requested specifications.
• Create and maintain templates for various CAT software platforms for use by internal teams and reporters as needed.
• Review and proofread transcripts as requested to maintain quality standards.

Requirements
