Job summary

The Springs of Pinnacle Mountain in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver physician-ordered PT services, support patient progress, and collaborate with the PT and IDT to meet individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Active/valid Arkansas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist per physician orders.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's plan of treatment with PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment with IDT collaboration.
• Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
