Job summary

Repsol SA seeks a Real Estate Legal Counsel to join the US Legal Department. You will provide business‑oriented advice on real estate aspects of renewable energy development, construction, financing, acquisition, disposition, and operation.

You will work with internal teams and outside counsel to manage risks and ensure compliance. This role requires JD from an ABA‑accredited school, bar admission in at least one state (Texas preferred), and at least five years of relevant experience, including

Qualifications

• JD from ABA‑accredited school; bar admission in at least one state.
• Experience drafting real estate, title, and survey documents.
• Renewable energy or infrastructure real estate experience preferred.
• Ability to provide practical, risk‑based business legal advice.
• Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Advise on real estate aspects of renewable energy projects from development to financing.
• Draft and negotiate real estate agreements including leases, easements, and purchase agreements.
• Conduct title, survey, and due diligence reviews and oversee related documentation.
• Coordinate with tax equity, project financing, and other teams on real estate matters.
