Lowe’s Corporate Legal Department in Mooresville, NC seeks a seasoned Corporate Counsel – Product & Technology to serve as embedded counsel for our technology organization. You will advise on AI, privacy, digital governance, and tech transactions while partnering with product, engineering, and compliance teams.

You will translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance, help build scalable governance, and support enterprise initiatives with speed and prudence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years practicing law in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience in AI governance, privacy, technology product counseling, or related areas.
• Juris Doctorate or ABA-accredited equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in lieu of education requirement.

Responsabilités

• Act as embedded product counsel for Lowe's technology products, platforms, and digital experiences, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle to identify risks early and enable compliant design.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and operational risks associated with product development, technology implementation, digital experiences, and enterprise transformation.
• Partner with technology and product teams to operationalize legal and regulatory requirements into practical business and technical guidance.
• Participate in strategic planning discussions, roadmap reviews, prioritization meetings, and cross-functional initiatives to identify risks and support scalable solutions.
• Help develop scalable governance frameworks, operational standards, and legal requirements that support responsible innovation and enterprise objectives.
• Counsel on issues relating to digital experiences, consent and disclosure design, accessibility, cloud initiatives, software commercialization, and other technology-related matters.
• Apply business judgment to identify key legal risks, recommend practical mitigation strategies, and enable efficient decision-making.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Security, Privacy, HR, and other functions to support enterprise initiatives and issue resolution.
• Support select commercial and technology transaction matters, advising on legal risks and enabling business objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with technology leadership and cross-functional stakeholders by delivering practical and solutions-oriented guidance.
