Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PTA treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PTA services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Report patient progress and coordinate with PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision as needed.
• Document assessments and treatment notes promptly and accurately.
• Attend required rehab department meetings and participate in care planning.
• Educate patients and families about therapy plans and progress.
