Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal certificate is required.
• Minimum of 3 years financial services sector, corporate internal legal department, law firm or related experience.
• Experience in a high-volume in-house legal environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the department's request process, tracking and prioritizing incoming requests, routing requests to the appropriate owners.
• Drive matters to completion through disciplined follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain trackers, logs and reporting tools to assist with Legal’s operations and substantive project work.
• Prepare first drafts of routine legal documents and correspondence as well as business and operational documents, reports and presentations.
• Provide detailed review of certain legal documents, presentations, and spreadsheets spanning various legal practice areas, including running redlines and commenting.
• Prepare summaries, charts and presentations in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.
• Build, document, and maintain templates, forms, checklists, playbooks, standard operating procedures and databases.
• Draft, document, and revise policies and procedures.
• Handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
• Complete project work in a timely and organized manner.
• Respond accurately and promptly to information queries from internal and external sources.
