Job summary

CareOne in Newton, MA is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-house rehabilitation within our skilled nursing and long-term care settings. You will collaborate daily with nursing and clinical staff to improve patient outcomes.

This role offers full-time, part-time with benefits and per diem, with hourly pay ranging from $30 to $45, depending on experience and schedule. Travel to other facilities may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
