Job summary

Lake Lodge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lake Worth, TX is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will deliver person-centered therapy to residents to improve independence and quality of life under supervision of an OT.

The role requires an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work with residents with varying needs. SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas OTA license active and in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Deliver treatments per the established plan of care.
• Provide guidance to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes.
• Complete documentation in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.
