Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Florida. The role supports a partnership facility with varied shift options: full time, part time, or PRN.

Responsibilities include screening residents, developing and following treatment plans, and ensuring CMS-compliant documentation and billing. Active OTA licensure and ongoing continuing education are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention or treatment per scope of practice.
• Develop and follow treatment plans to meet short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with other team members.
• Deliver therapy per established plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
