Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Ahoskie, NC. The role supports providing high-quality therapy services and directly contributes to resident well-being.

The OTA works under supervision to implement treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, with full-time, part-time, or PRN options available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice is mandatory.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to identify appropriate interventions.
• Carry out treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and families.
• Schedule resident therapy sessions with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per plan.
• Fulfill other duties to effectively treat patients.
