Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Randallstown, MD seeks an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility on a part-time or PRN basis.

You will screen residents, develop and implement treatment plans, communicate findings to residents and families, schedule therapy, document and bill services, supervise COTA as needed, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish goals and methods.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatments meet reimbursement practices.
