Job summary

BrightPath Kids Inc in Dallas-Fort Worth Hybrid is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel, Litigation to lead the Company’s litigation, claims management, and dispute resolution strategy alongside the Chief Legal Officer.

You will advise executives on risk, oversee outside counsel, coordinate with operations, HR, licensing, and compliance, and help develop policies to reduce legal exposure while supporting growth.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience with significant litigation responsibility.
• Experience managing complex litigation and directing outside counsel.
• Experience handling tort, premises liability, employment, regulatory disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation portfolio with CLO and manage disputes.
• Oversee outside counsel, budgets, staffing and case outcomes.
• Advise executives on risk and exposure for strategic decisions.
• Develop policies to reduce legal exposure and improve operations.
• Provide training on litigation avoidance and regulatory compliance.
