Job summary

Cisco’s Legal Experience Acceleration Program (LEAP) invites 1L law students for an 11-week in-house summer internship. Interns will work across multiple legal practice groups, gaining exposure to Cisco’s innovative technologies and its business clients.

The program offers executive mentorship, networking, and skills training, with a potential pathway to a Rising 3L internship and a two-year rotation after law school, paving a path toward a permanent in-house role at Cisco.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree program at an ABA-accredited law school as a 1L law student for academic year 2026/2027.
• Available to start in our internship program as part of a cohort on May 17, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work across various legal practice groups to enable Cisco’s mission.
• Gain experience across practice areas while supporting our internal client base.
• Drive projects to enable the business to develop and sell leading networking, security and collaboration products.
• Deliver an end-of-summer project to Cisco Legal's Senior Leadership Team.
