Job summary

Cisco Legal's LEAP recruits 1L law students for an 11-week in-house summer internship, offering exposure across many practice areas and practical experience in a global technology company.

Interns gain one-on-one mentorship, networking opportunities, and career development resources, with a potential transition to a Rising 3L internship and a two-year rotation program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree program at an ABA-accredited law school as a 1L law student for academic year 2026/2027.
• Available to start in our internship program as part of a cohort on May 17, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work across various legal practice groups to enable Cisco’s mission.
• Support internal clients and drive projects enabling product and service development.
• Deliver an end-of-summer project to Cisco Legal’s Senior Leadership Team.
