Job summary

Cisco’s Legal Experience Acceleration Program (LEAP) recruits 1L law students for an 11-week in-house summer internship. Interns will work across multiple legal practice groups, helping to enable Cisco’s mission of building innovative technologies for customers worldwide.

The program offers mentorship, networking, and access to skills training and career development resources, with a direct pathway to Rising 3L internships and a potential 2-year rotation after law school.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor degree program at an ABA-accredited law school as a 1L law student for academic year 2026/2027.
• Available to start in our internship program as part of a cohort on May 17, 2027.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Work across various legal practice groups to support Cisco's legal operations.
• Gain experience across a wide variety of practice areas while supporting our internal client base.
• Deliver an end-of-summer project to Cisco Legal's Senior Leadership Team.
• Participate in mentorship and networking opportunities.
