Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a legal intern to join our in-house Commercial and Corporate team in San Francisco. This role offers hands-on experience drafting and negotiating agreements, and exposure to transactions like M&A, financing, and public company readiness.

You\'ll build an NDA and vendor playbook, annotate contract templates, and test an intake workflow with AI tools. JD 2L/3L preferred; 1 day per week in-office required.

Qualifications

• JD student with strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Experience or coursework in commercial/corporate law is a plus.
• Willingness to learn AI-assisted tools such as Claude.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial and Corporate teams on diverse transactions.
• Draft and validate an NDA and vendor agreements.
• Build and annotate a clause/template library reflecting standard positions.
• Develop an intake workflow using AI tools to produce first-pass issue summaries.
• Assist onboarding of a new contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform.
