Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is building the world's best AI cloud and internal IT systems. This Information Systems role requires in-person presence in San Francisco or San Jose four days per week, plus a designated work-from-home day on Tuesday.

You will design and operate software and automation for mission-critical internal platforms, implement security guardrails, and collaborate across Finance, GTM, Engineering, and People to keep data flows secure and available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or IT systems engineering.
• Build and deploy internal AI tooling and platforms integrated with LLM workflows.
• Manage internal AI infrastructure, gateways, and cost-efficient routing of model traffic.
• Automate IT workflows with incident triage, log parsing, and user provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and deliver software and services to improve internal IT systems' availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Automate responses to non-exceptional events and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
• Engage in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Produce documentation and artifacts for the systems you are responsible for.
• Maintain platform health and CI/CD pipelines (serverless functions, deployments) to ensure high uptime.
• Implement guardrails and data-privacy controls across internal tools.
