Our knowledge, scale and vision is transforming the synthetic sports surface industry.Job PurposeSport Group Americas seeks a skilled, highly motivated and proactive legal counsel with a passion for sports. This position will partner closely with internal business counterparts to negotiate and deliver partnerships across our various brands including AstroTurf and SYNLawn (turf), Laykold (courts), and Rekortan (tracks). This role will work closely with a wide range of cross-functional teams to provide strategic and tactical legal counseling, ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the VP Finance, the key responsibilities will include:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and other legal documents relevant to the company’s operations e.g., for development, manufacturing, distribution, works performance and contractual sale of goods.Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.Assist with corporate governance activities including preparation of board resolutions, policies, procedures and internal governance documents, and training.
