Job summary

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Guest Services Representative (In-House) to drive sales for profit while delivering outstanding guest experiences. This role reports to the Director of Sales and General Manager and participates in daily meetings.

You will escort guests to accommodations, present to prospective buyers, and handle paperwork for sales transactions. Strong English communication and basic math are required; bilingual Portuguese a plus.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess exceptional sales skills and techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, managers, and other team members of the organization. Must be able to speak and understand English. Bilingual English-Portuguese a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITIES

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
