Job summary

Sterling Management is seeking an In-House Counsel to provide legal support to the General Counsel and the broader team, with emphasis on commercial leasing, real estate acquisitions, and loan transactions in the United States.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school with academic distinction.
• Licensed (or eligible to become licensed) to practice law in North Dakota; Minnesota licensure preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant law firm or in-house experience in business and real estate transactions.
• Excellent legal writing and ability to draft clear agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal support for commercial leasing, acquisitions, and loan transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate leases, amendments, and related documentation.
• Support corporate governance matters and securities compliance.
• Advise on day-to-day operations and cross-functional matters with the legal team.
