Job summary

HR Consulting Solutions LLC is recruiting for an Attorney to serve as in-house legal counsel for River Valley AgCredit in Paducah, Kentucky. The role reports to the CEO and covers lending, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance for a rural financial institution.

The successful candidate will guide leadership on legal matters, maintain bylaws and policies, and work with the Board of Directors to ensure regulatory alignment and prudent decision-making.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the state, with ability to practice law.
• 1–3 years of law practice experience.
• Strong research, analysis, judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze internal legal issues and provide opinions to management and the Board.
• Advise on lending operations, loan administration, and internal corporate matters.
• Collaborate with General Counsel to protect the Association's interests.
• Maintain bylaws, policies and procedures; assist with policy development and revisions.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting the Association.
• Support risk management and employee training related to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on litigation, bankruptcy, settlements, and other legal matters.
