Job summary

Sargent Electric seeks a seasoned in-house attorney to provide strategic and day-to-day commercial legal support across three U.S. operating companies in electrical construction, telecom, and energy markets.

You'll draft and negotiate EPC, electrical construction, and telecom agreements, identify risks, and partner with operations, procurement, and finance to ensure contract compliance and effective dispute resolution throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and mitigate contractual and commercial risk across complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day commercial legal support across three U.S. operating companies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, electrical construction, telecommunications, and related agreements.
• Identify legal, contractual, and commercial risks and communicate mitigation strategies to leadership.
