Job summary

Rippling, Inc. is seeking a practical Corporate Counsel to join its lean in-house team in the United States. The role reports to the General Counsel and offers exposure to commercial, regulatory and strategic matters across the company.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, strong drafting and contracting skills, and the ability to manage diverse matters from inception to close.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active and in-good-standing license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong commercial contracting and legal drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support across the Company's operations under the General Counsel.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements (supply, purchase, sale, services, etc.).
• Advise on regulatory, environmental, and compliance matters affecting operations and projects.
• Support corporate governance, transactions, and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage legal spend effectively.
• Assist with employment, IP, financing, privacy, and related matters as needs arise.
