ALIS by Medtelligent, a growing healthcare technology company, seeks an in-house counsel in Chicago with 2–3 years corporate legal experience.

You will draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial agreements; partner with stakeholders; balance legal protections with practical business outcomes; and help build playbooks and templates. The role is on-site initially with potential hybrid options, salary $90k–$120k, Illinois bar preferred.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of corporate legal experience at a law firm.
• Licensed attorney in good standing; Illinois admission preferred.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and balance risk with practical outcomes.
• Clear communication with both legal and non-legal audiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building new processes.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, identify risks, and move agreements to completion.
• Balance legal protection with practical business outcomes.
• Improve contract templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and approval processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction and accelerate routine legal work.
• Support corporate transactions and related legal workstreams.
• Assist with corporate governance, entity management, and compliance initiatives.
• Serve as a day-to-day legal resource for teams across ALIS.
• Help stakeholders understand risks, tradeoffs, and practical paths forward.
• Build strong working relationships that make Legal a trusted partner.
• Participate in special projects and coordinate with outside counsel on specialized projects.
