Job summary

go-alis, a healthcare technology company in Chicago, seeks an in-house attorney with 2–3 years of corporate legal experience to negotiate commercial agreements and manage risk. You’ll partner with the COO/GC and cross-functional teams, helping to move transactions forward while balancing business needs with legal protections.

You’ll be on a path to broader responsibility, with on-site work required initially and potential hybrid flexibility based on milestones.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of corporate legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Licensed attorney in good standing; Illinois admission preferred.
• Meaningful experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong communication with legal and non-legal audiences.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements (customer, vendor, NDA, employment, partnerships).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand priorities, identify risks, and move agreements to completion.
• Balance legal protection with practical business outcomes and drive process improvements.
• Support corporate transactions and governance initiatives; coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Act as a trusted day-to-day legal resource across teams.
