Job summary

Wabtec Corporation seeks an Associate Counsel to serve as a trusted legal advisor across commercial, corporate, compliance, and business matters. You will partner with the Global Sourcing team and support governance, M&A due diligence, and contract lifecycle management in a dynamic global environment.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of legal experience with in-house or law firm background.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, compliance, and corporate matters.
• Ability to identify legal and business risks and provide practical advice.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to support litigation matters and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools (e.g., Harvey AI).
• Familiarity with CLM, DMS, EMS, and litigation hold systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements.
• Advise the Global Sourcing organization and manage legal risk.
• Serve as escalation point for NDA reviews and provide day-to-day legal support.
• Assist with corporate governance, due diligence, and transaction documentation.
• Support compliance initiatives and governance projects across the company.
• Participate in implementation and management of CLM and other legal systems.
