Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor degree required.
• Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar, with eligibility to register as in-house counsel in New York.
• One to three years of practical legal experience for Manager, Assistant Corporate Counsel; three+ years for Manager, Associate Corporate Counsel.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate governance, entity management, and related finance and legal initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts including licenses, distributions, and real estate leases.
• Advise on marketing, branding, product, and compliance matters impacting New Era products.
• Counsel internal clients on legal risks, terms of transactions, and business issues.
• Support strategic transactions including licensing, franchises, due diligence, and integrations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance knowledge and proper use of AI tools per policy.
