Job description

Our client, a privately held billion dollar manufacturing business has an immediate opening for an Associate Corporate Counsel. The successful candidate will support a business unit in a variety of functions. These functions include reviewing and negotiating contracts, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadershipand supporting HR with employment issues. This role will be part of a 3 attorney legal team and will report directly to the general counsel.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years experience in either a law firm setting, in-house counsel, or preferablya combination of the two. Candidates should have significant business law experience, with a preference towards candidates with a transactional background. The position will be based at the company's HQ in the Bronx, and candidates will be expected to primarily be in the office . This is not a hybrid role.
